Distillery District

Cobblestone lanes and Victorian industrial buildings, with modern condos rising around Toronto’s most photographed heritage site.

The feel of the neighbourhood

The Distillery District preserves the largest collection of Victorian industrial architecture in North America, the former Gooderham & Worts distillery. Its car-free lanes are home to galleries, theatres, cafés and the winter Distillery Market.

Living here

The surrounding area, including the West Don Lands and the Canary District, adds parks such as Corktown Common and easy access to the Don River trails. Planned Ontario Line stations nearby are expected to improve transit significantly.

What to know about the condo market

Buildings here are relatively new and well built, and the neighbourhood character is protected. Weekend visitor traffic is part of daily life, so suite location within the building matters.
