The feel of the neighbourhood
Once industrial port land, Harbourfront was transformed from the 1970s onward into a public waterfront of parks, galleries and residential towers. Queens Quay was rebuilt with a wide boardwalk and the Martin Goodman Trail.
Living here
Harbourfront Centre runs festivals and events through the year, and the ferry to the Toronto Islands leaves from the foot of Bay Street. Union Station is a short streetcar ride, and cycling along the water is a daily pleasure.
