Toronto’s condo market has spent the past two years rebalancing. More completed buildings mean more choice, and buyers have had more time to compare and negotiate than they did a few years ago.
What we’re seeing
Well-priced one-bedroom-plus-den suites in established buildings continue to sell steadily. Smaller studios and investor-style units are taking longer, especially in areas with a lot of new supply.
For buyers
This is a good time to be selective. Ask for the status certificate early, compare maintenance fees per square foot, and look closely at parking and locker value.
For sellers
Presentation and pricing matter more than ever. Suites that are staged, photographed well and priced for today’s market are still attracting multiple viewings in their first week.
